Not really sure about the answer to your question, but just to cover all bases, this unique applicant applied to 31 schools.

Any idea as to how many apps by unique students are being sent this year?  I've read that the number of apps have increased, but the number of unique students is about the same.  That means that, on whole, applicants are applying to more schools than in years past.

Share your thoughts, please.

What the heck are you asking? Can you re-phrase it?

Ok.  Forgive my slowness.  I thought you were asking about specific applicant characteristics.

I don't have any hard data, but I think you're right.  Most law prep books published pre-2000 tell applicants to submit 6-8 applications.  Most now tell applicants to submit 9-12.  That may be an indication.

me too, if you're dyslexic.

i agree that apps could be up while applicants are down or constant.  didn't the number of oct test-takers go down?  have the december numbers been released yet?

Oct was down by a lot, Dec was only up by a little bit--overall, it was down like 2%.
