I agree.  That's the impression I was left with after asking for a confirmation.

As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I knew what it was about. I just opened the same email. Definitely cruel, but I don't think there is a hidden meaning here. I really think it was just mistitled or something. It seems like a general email that the Financial Aid office sends out to all applicants.

Sorry, I didn't read through all the posts before my last response. I didn't realize that others already confirmed that the letter was a mistake.

I got that today too. I was accepted last month to Pacific- just wanted to let you know that they do not send out acceptance emails-

Yeah, I got the email today too. My scholarships were nice. They came right after Christmas. They've been courting me pretty nicely considering I'm such a low-rung applicant. It must help that my firm does a lot of recruiting from UoP. I love them. (I will always have loyalty to my first acceptance)

They're just being mean little bitches- yes, I got this world-famous e-mail, too!!!

But, I don't care, because until they send me something that is unequivocal, I have reason to think about it. I'm gonna throw this e-mail in the my trash file, because it don't mean male male private part.
