U of Pacific - really cruel

so i get an email with the topic
"Financial Aid Information"... there is no message, just a signature line from someone in admissions with an attachment entitled:  applicant-accepted letter.doc
Right?

So i open the freakin' email all excited...


"The Financial Aid Staff is delighted that you have applied to Pacific/McGeorge School of Law.  If you will need Financial Aid to finance your legal education and have not applied, now is the time to apply.  Applying for Financial Aid is extremely easy and painless....."   blah blah blah blah blah....

Considering I havent heard from ONE school yet...this is pretty crappy

That's how my acceptance letter came (big white envelope)

That sounds like an email that only comes to accepted students.  I'd give the school a call and ask what your status is.  Heck, that big white envelope might be stuck in a mail sorting machine as we speak (getting all ripped up and greasy).

Got the same email....I'm really confused as to what it means, but since I have not been accepted to any other schools as of yet I am counting it as an acceptance.  Woohoo!!!  1 down 12 to go!!!

I just opened up the word document and opened up the properties under the file menu.  In the title field the following statement was posted "Congratulations on your acceptance to Pacific/McGeorge School of Law."

That confirms it for me.

I got the same email and I checked under properties, and it does say congratulations. Somehow I'm still skeptical. Has anyone verified this yet?

I received notification that my application was complete on Friday and now an "acceptance" on Monday! Nice to know they're working overtime to keep up with the notification!

I'm going to wait to see the hard copy before I crack open the bottle of champagne.
