Congrats on getting into Widener. I went to a top 20 liberal arts college, graduated with a 3.0, scored a 155 on my lsat and was only admitted to Widener through their Tap program which is part time. In the end I decided not to go to Widener I have heard it is difficult to find a job comming out of the law school.

As I was told by an ivy admissions director, you should just send them a few postcards to let them know your continual interest in their law program. Also don't annoy but the least you want to do is call them up periodically for a status report. So then, when it comes time to do so, the admissions director and/or comittee there will keep your name in mind and that has made a difference for close call acceptances (i.e. wait lists). Hope this helps you out.

SA what other law schools did you apply to? I would think with your numbers, you should of been able to get into some good schools. A friend of mine got a 155 and had a 3.0 gpa from the same school I went to and got into Syracuse. My Undergrad Institution is anything but top notch.

SA Did you apply late I was told by one of Widener's admission folks that they got the most applications ever? As long as the economy sucks law school will get tougher to get into.

I am not going to Widener yet it is just one of many schools I am looking at. The delaware campus is not to far from where I live so housing is not a problem, thats why Widener is a possibility for me. I know Its not a top notch law school.

Richard,
That doesn't matter if you do well in the school itself (top 10% of the graduating class) I wish you all the best either way.
