Loki

Dude - that's hilarious! That would have been a contender but that's my little brother's middle name. I'm 12 years older than my little brother, so when he was born my parents let me give him his middle name. Loki it was.

Nice, and much better than Thor.

I like Frakki as Norse names go.  Not sure where I remember it from but I watch a lot of hockey, so it's possible it was a player's name.  According to a site I just found it means courageous one.

Cool, I'm now googling Odin and reading the dirt. Is your interest in Norse mythology a long-term thing or did you just like the name because it carries with it the idea of strength/power/what have you?

I've always been a big fan of old english and norse culture. As a kid i couldn't read enough about Viking lore. The boy was gonna be named something integral to Beowulf, Lord of the Rings (*old* school fan), or the Conan myths.

why then, it a good thing that as a kid you not preoccupied with dinosaurs.  one only can imagine....  "hey, steggy."
