Yeah, it was near the Exams building...really posh place, could regularly go there without reservations.

You know, not very often Actually more when I was just visiting! Oh although there is this gorgeous place in Oxford that does high tea and the best scones ever. But a lot of the posh English traditions went out the window during the punk era

lol - high street is kind of a generic term for the main roads in English towns that have the usual English big chains (top shop, next, river island). 

oh did you go to Oxford?  For a semester?  What a great place.  Although I'm biased toward Cambridge - my sister's there.  Both great places.
