I have lived in Dekalb for many years so I know the area pretty well. DeKalb is actually a mix between a college town and a small town. You can find quiet places at coffee houses and stuff, and the night life is rather fun in DeKalb with many different bars and clubs. I graduated from NIU and think that the campus and the facilities are very nice and well kept. I know some people who attend NIU law and they seem to like it, I have not heard any bad things about the law school. And from what I understand it is trying to raise in the rankings! Anything else just let me know!
