When I get resumes that list things like Mensa, National Merit Scholar, or any other similar high school-esque/ irrelevant awards, I always chuckle.

If Mensa ever waives that pesky requirement of being a genius to join, I'll sign right up.

Sorry guys... the days of the 163 are no more, as of 06/03 you have to get a 171 to join the illustrious ranks of MENSA.

Wow ... 171? They're idiots. They will still accept a GRE of 1875 but not someone with a 170 on the LSAT? Impressive. in 1998-99, I took the LSAT and the GRE in close succession and got 168 and 2200. Someone should ask them how they picked 171.

that doesn't make much sense at all. The people who take the Lsat are not a representative sample in that people who take the lsat have had more schooling. Mensa qualifications for that test should be looser not stricter. Perhaps 163 was too lenient, 171 is way too severe dontcha think?

I think Asia Carrera is smart as well as sexy. It does Mensa honor to have her as a member. =)
