well you obviously have some very warped views. i dont think many people on this board would agree that being a bartender through college is something to look down upon. however, i dont care to write anything more because i would bet that you dont really feel that way. you just created your account very recently in order to post controversial comments and insult people.
Yeah, wow, you'll make a top-notch lawyer. First, you start off by begging the question. My views aren't warped at all. On the nepotism point, there was an Atlantic Monthly
article on this very same point a year or so back. You also haven't answered the question: should a crack dealer who puts himself through college be commended? No. I don't see why any other drug dealer should.
Failing that, you then appeal to an anonymous majority. First off, whatever. Just because a lot of people believe something doesn't make it true. Second, I don't know what the average poster may/may not believe (not that that matters); you just throw out a completely warrantless claim and palm that off as some sort of justification.
In this case, I actually do believe what I'm saying. However, you're not preparing very well for a career in law if you expect that every argument has to be founded on personal conviction. I feel sorry for your clients, especially since you quit so easily. See how long you survive with that kind of attitude.
