I had a friend in high school that was really into Mensa.  He did it with his dad and after he found out what I got on my SAT he was always trying to get me to go to meetings.  I always thought it was silly to hang out w/ other people because they got the same score on a standardized test but I think I'm gonna look into that insurance thing...

Does anyone else have any experience going to mensa meetings, what type's of activities one can participate in? Especially in the Los Angeles Area?

I would join if Mensa actually had any prestige.  I got a 180 on my LSAT and I don't like associating with trash who didn't.
