Deferral at Duke

I am in at duke but would like to defer a year. Is it hard to get a deferral? what are good reasons? I mean what is a reason that a school would accept?

Call/email and ask.  Each school has it's own specific policy in terms of when you have to request one and the reasons accepted.

They have a lenient policy.  It should not be too hard.
