did anyone get an email about financial aid at UPENN a week ago despite not having recieved a decision yet?
should this be read into?

Yes, I received that email too. I wanted to be hopeful at first, but soon realized that my friends who applied all received that email. *sigh*

don't read into it, I think everyone got it including people who were not yet complete.
You can't get accepted to a school if you don't apply

yeah i got that e-mail then the next day was deferred....i think it went to anyone who even thought of going to penn this year (and that is a lot of people as we all know) :D ;D
