...anyone.....I've read in some threads about degree granting GPA.  I understand the difference but does it really matter if you went to two schools and the different GPA's?

I'm not sure what your question is. It doesn't matter from LSAC's perspective; your overall GPA will combine them. It might, however, matter to a particular adcomm who decides that for some reason your more recent GPA is the only relevant one (for example).

This seems like a good addendum topic (yes, I realize you're discussing that very thing on another thread).

ok, that is what I figured.  For example some people post 3.2 degree granting GPA instead of cum.  I guess I was grasping at straws considering my degree granting GPA will be light years above my cum.
