Congrats. I was deferred from Miami, but I would have no problem ending up there. Have you spent time in the area?

I am so excited right now, and a little drunk. My firends and I celebrated and i drank a lot of champagne.

Miami was my first choice. I was scared about getting deffered as well. I took the LSAT twice, with a 151/158 so my average is a 155. BUT i wrote an addendum explaining a medical condition (remember the poop post?) so i dont think that most of the schools i applied to really took the average.

Who is coming to miami with me?

possibly me, i expect to get dinged at all of the top 14. ill probably end up in at miami, fsu, and uf, and im pretty sure id prefer um.

I'm in at Miami too and I might end up there too.  My best guess is that it will be between Miami and Pitt...

i'm flying down on thursday for new years to be with my friends and family that are there. I'm from michigan. I am going to check out the school and start looking at apartments (I need to find a place that allows dogs, I have a min-pin who is coming with me to school) I think you will have no problem with that LSAT score. was this the only time you took it? I realize your GPA is on the low side, but you will for sure get into a lot of good schools. BUT miami is this shiz and you should go there too.

I've heard that UF is an awesome college town, but that its in the middle of nowhere. I have family in west palm and jupiter, so miami is closer to them, plus i have friends at miami law now, and another going to miami med school.
