Here's a question I don't think I've seen addressed, and would be unique to us military folk. When getting recommendation letters together, would it be more favorable to have a letter from a someone who was your supervisor in your chain-of-command (Two Navy E-8's, to be exact), or a professor?
I'm asking because it'd be *far* easier for me to get the letters from my Navy supervisors before the deadline than it would for me to track down my professors from California (DLI-Monterey, to be precise).
Any advise?
