Hey Andrew, I can't upload an avatar :-(

Am I doing something wrong?  I tried last night to upload but when I hit the save changes button, the next page shows up only with two options, use one of the LSD avatars or link to another site's picture.  Am I missing something?

you might need to resize your image so it's 100 pixels x 100 pixels.

Okay - this has been fixed.  The site will now resize it for you so you don't have to worry.

While we're on the topic, I know a lot of people know this but for anyone curious... if you want the biggest avatar possible, you should use a square picture.  The site will reduce your picture to 100 pixels at it's largest dimension, but it will keep the proportions.  Thus a square picture will end up 100 by 100, whereas a rectangle will be 100 by something less than 100.

You're right about the picture - it's from last Friday when I was sworn in in Massachusetts.  I thought I needed something more wintry.  I'm going to try some sort of "four seasons of avatars" thing.
