I'm hopeful that the sys admins can resurrect yesterday’s missing posts. The posts may be sitting on the old server/computer. We are on a new server/computer.

It wasn't that many posts.  The database is so large that it's hard to get everything moved without any errors.  It could be perfect but it would take longer, and I figured you all would rather just have access to the board again than keep the posts.

If there's something you really need that was lost, you can access the old site until the end of the year at http://67.19.196.126/ and read, and cut and paste or whatever.

to counter matt's attitude, i just want to say that i think it's worth it to lose some posts.  it's good to have LSD back

This seems much faster.  Nice work, Andrew.

It is much faster.  You can actually look at the very bottom of the page to see how long it took the server to make a particular page.  During busy times on the old server, those numbers were up to a few seconds.  Right now they're less than .1 seconds.
