I was wondering if you could add a feature in which a user is able to see where he/her has been quoted in a thread (maybe over the last seven days).  This could help in terms of knowing when someone has responded to something you wrote or is making an inquiry.  Just a thought. . . .

It's a good idea but I think it'd be more trouble than it would be worth.  One problem is that people don't always use the quote feature (and I don't blame them because I never explained how it works).  Likewise, one doesn't have to quote someone to make an argument and people relying on the system you propose would miss relevant responses.
