Yeah I applied for both fall and spring. I actually went to the dean's office at Baylor Law and she pulled up my file and told me that my index number would probably not get me in at this point. Especially since they only have 80 or so seats and over 2000 applicants at this point. Baylor is sooooo picky about the law index, that it will recalibrate the LSAC UGPA by removing all pluses and minuses (ie a B+ becomes a 3.0 instead of a 3.5). I guess its working for them, they still have the highest bar passage rate each year (most of the time its 98%) and win most moot court competitions across the nation.
I did apply for a few law firms through a friend in dallas and got those wonderful "because of the down economy, we are not hiring" BS. Sucks that Im graduating and wont be getting any job with an office where I can hang my degree (or even afford to pay for the frame).
