somehow i missed ur getting into H (though not at all surprised).  while impossible to say anyone has a great chance or is a lock at yale, i cant see any reason why you dont have as good a shot as anyone else.

Congratulations!

Has anyone gotten an acceptance from Penn that wasn't by phone? (meaning has anyone gotten an actual letter yet?)

Congratulations to all acceptees!

I'm sorry if I missed the answer to my question in another thread but I was wondering if any of you wrote more than one of the essays or if that would just annoy them.

Thanks.

I wish they would hurry up and send my decision as this is the last I am waiting for from those for which I applied early notification and they are high on the list because of former classmates who attend, my spouse's work opps in the region, and hopefully getting so merit money. Not to mention they are way cheaper to live in than Boston, Palo Alto, and NYC (although I am still pending in some of these cities and don't have acceptances in hand). I need options, hurry up Penn, that way I can take a break as the other places I applied will be taking there sweet time, since I did the same in turning the apps in after Thanksgiving up until just this past weekend.

Well they haven't sent out official letters of acceptance yet, just phone calls, I believe...or at least I hope so
