I just posted on waitlist.  PT deferment...thought they would decide one way or the other.  What's the point of being early when you are a borderline candidate?  I live in northern Cal, just opened it.

Do you mean what's the point of me applying EA with my borderline numbers?  I thought the earlier you applied, the better your chances...

Hey, I'm 3.05/158 and I applied full-time (dumb).  My index is a 3.0 while yours is a 3.1... I'm doomed.  Damn engineering.

I kind of knew i was dime a dozen for them...just wanted that local solid back up.  Yes regular mail and was told they started mailing today when I emailed them yesterday

Don't think you are doomed..you just may have to wait awhile longer like me.  I just wanted it all sewed up in a nice/neat package and EARLY.  Good luck to you!

Damn, think my GF already got the mail and she didn't mention anything... I've been checking my E-mail all day!  I'm in Northern California (sac) so hopefully tommorow.

Why do you say you're a dime a dozen Berkeley student?  They are the number 1 feeder to Santa Clara... you're better off than me being a U.C. Davis student.

dime a dozen- they get a lot of CAL apps, they look for variety.  I'm more of the same.  Schools off this coast offer me scholarship money and more help because a CAL degree is more rare in their app piles.  You see the brochures-  We have students with undergrad degrees from Yale, Harvard etc.  Plus they think Cal means controversial liberal!  Great for the classroom if you need one!
