thank you all so much for the congrats! sorry i have not been on here!

i hope all of you ED guys hear soon too - we'll have to start planning our study groups!

to answer question about my "soft factors" - i do have a lot of intern exp (White house, congress, etc) and was really involved on campus - i spent time in s. africa as a vol. teacher, started a books for africa drive on my campus. i think this tied in pretty well to my desire to do intl development. 

i think my p statement was pretty good...i have to assume my acceptance was a combination of applyng ED and my activities/statement.....this gives everyone hope that they really look beyond the numbers!
