Yale Letter
« on: April 19, 2004, 02:21:29 PM »
Hey All,

Just two seconds ago I received an email from Yale notifying me that I'll receive my decision soon, either an acceptance or waitlist: "Applicants in this group will either receive an offer of admission or an invitation to join the waitlist." As for the time frame, "We expect to accept a number of applicants during the last two weeks of April and the first week of May as our class evolves."

If I get accepted I'm going to scream. :)

So I think that if you haven't heard from Yale yet, that's a good thing, because your app is competitive! Hope the info helps. Good luck all.

Yale?  You can't go to Yale.  I'm not going to Yale, so no one can go to Yale.   :'(

But really, good luck.

Congrats on the email! Your GPA is great, but even getting on the waiting list at Yale with a 168 this year is phenomenol! Good luck!

dsong02,

How long have you been out of college?  Have you had much work experience?  What are your specific stats (i.e. major, undergrad university)  Are you a minority?

Depending on your stats, you may have somewhat of a shot at a top 5-10 school.

Is he a minority? Did you see his picture? I can't think of many other people that have day-glow blue skin. That has to score some diversity points with law schools!
