anyone heard yet from Columbia about ED?

how does Columbia notify its acceptees - letter, phone call, email?

My roommate applied ED to Columbia, and got an email yesterday from them saying that her application is being moved to the regular decision pool because they would like to wait to make an admissions decision based on her December LSAT.  Her numbers are lower than avg for Columbia.  We can't decide whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.

EDIT: It says it was sent yesterday afternoon, but I just got it today (sbcglobal.net addrs were screwing up yesterday.)
