That's great!  Illinois is one of my top "realistic" choices.  I think I have a fairly decent shot at getting in, and I wouldn't mind taking the Illinois bar exam and working in Chicago.  I just mailed my application in yesterday.

What are your stats - LSAT, GPA, major, work experience?

This sort of gets my hopes up to hear something, though I think that most schools send out acceptances to people with splits later on in the game.

I am 165/3.5 out of state.  I applied in October.  $10,000.  I thought that was pretty good. Thoughts, comments on that?

I don't know if WashU will give me enough to get my cost to $15,000 a year.  I was RD and I got a phone call from the Dean of Admissions, Paul Pless (I think).  He said a letter was in the mail but I haven't gotten that yet.
