hey guys, the more I read about what paths a fresh lawyer can take after law school, the more I get confused.
So, tell me, what makes more money, to be a partner in a BIGLAW, or practicing solo, like in malpractice (getting that fatty one third). I mean, John Edwards, took the later path, and his furtune is estimates between 15-64 millions. I mean, i guess that even if you are a partner in wachtell you may not make that amount of money in that little amount of money(he is in his forties for God's sake).
But isnt being a solo lawyer(of course after some years in a firm) a little risky. Is it again a take it all or nothing case?
