Hello all,
I'm from Canada, and I plan on attending law school starting in fall '05. I want to go to the US. Some people have told me that you can get a lot of financial aid from US schools, while some say the oppposite. What percentage of tuition can you really expect to get from a more expensive law school?
Also, I was wondering if anyone knows how law schools view finance degrees. My friend talked to a former Canadian supreme court judge, and he said law schools love finance degrees.
Lastly, I was wondering how the LSAC calculates GPA. Do they take your overall cumulative GPA. I was only about a 2.5 GPA my first year, but now I'm up in the 3.7-3.8 region. What will law schools think of this?
Any help is very much appreciated!
