Accepted UT Austin

Letter dated and postmarked 12/6/04, recieved 12/7/04 (i live in Austin).  I sent my app on the last possible day for early decision.  Letter came in a regular looking envelope--nothing fancy.  (166, 3.9).

Thanks.  It'll be interesting to find out if they sent a big batch of letters yesterday.    For the record, my status check still says under consideration.

I like this site for the sheer fact that you can see other people get their decision. Although, it might lead to a how about me, that is way better knowing that they are reviewing apps and decisions are headed in shortly. For GTown, Duke, and NYU, I saw it here and then when the package came in the mail I knew what it was. If only I hadnt waited until late November to finish my Harvard, Stanford, and Columbia applications after getting out all the early notification ones and then slacking for a couple of weeks. :(

tx residency. tx eid or whatever wasn't even working last time i tried, so maybe they are updating or something.  last time i checked it said still under consideration.

also, i live in texas so the letter got there quick.

relax dude. i think you'll be OK.

and not to anyone in particular, but after seeing many many posts on this board, i just have to say that my URM = actual minority, not some 1/4 argentinian 1/16 indian 1/2 north african gravy train crap.  full blooded, brown faced mexican-american.
