is it okay to ignore the grid?

Quick question, I am usinga general LOR for all schools and going to send it through LSDAS.  Columbia has a grid with some check boxes, but they also say if you are going to send it through LSDAS, DON'T send anyting directly to them... what about that dam* grid? 

Anyone else have this problem, are you just going to ignore the grid?

I just applied to columbia via paper. It was my only paper app so it was no big deal.

I ignored it. Don't know if that was a wise choice or not, but my impression was that those sending the app electronically could do so. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.

I'm 99% positive that those proprietary LOR forms are optional for each school that has them.  Every application I've read says to use them only if the LOR is coming directly to the school.
