3rd or 4th tier Acceptances?
« on: December 07, 2004, 11:04:43 AM »
Hello,

I know this board has some people on it that were accepted at some 3rd or 4th tier schools. I have applied to several myself. And I am wondering where you all got accepted or have you heard anything? Yeah yeah call them third tier toilets or whatever BUT I know there are some people who should be proud of their opportunities or acceptances. So please post...

Thanks

I finally got into Valpo.  I was so obnoxous on the board waiting for the letter, after everyone else got theirs, that I didn't bother posting about it again.  Not really a top choice but it's nice to be wanted somewhere.

Hey, there are a lot of us looking at the non top 100 schools... My three are Willamette, Idaho, and Valpo.  First two told me they don't look at files until after the 1st of the year.  I started a long Valpo thread, "In at Valpo...help"  trying to get some info a while back and it was helpful.  Good luck...you are not alone!

Well, I am going to apply in January to 3rd and 4th tiers in southern California. Whittier, Chapman, and Cal Western are my main schools. We'll see after January if I get accepted or not.
Pending: Whittier (PT + FT)

These are brave souls indeed.  The way everyone on this slams the "TTT" on this board, I'm surprised that anyone was will to admit that they applied below the "T14".  I'll be grateful for getting in anywhere.   :-[

I Applied to St. Mary's and South Texas (for spring) South Texas starts in a month and I have not heard anything. I called them and asked when I could expect to hear something. They told me within two weeks. I hope it is soon because I have to turn in my notice here at work and get set up in Houston. I am not ashamed to be "hoping" to get accepted to a tier 4 school. After graduation and passing the bar I will be an attorney just like a Harvard graduate. I am just thankful that there are opportunities for non-academic superstars such as myself to study and eventually practice law
