What the heck is with Willamette? (sorry that it didn't rhyme)
« on: December 07, 2004, 12:01:23 AM »
I don't know if I am just being paranoid, but I am getting really frustrated with Willamette. I applied 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything from them. I guess the big reason why I am annoyed and worried is that it is the only safety school I applied to. I mean, if my SAFETY doesn't want my application, what does that say about my chances overall? I applied last year and was rejected everywhere. I DO NOT want a repeat. Can I consider Willamette a saftey with a 154/3.76? Anyone in this same boat regarding their freakin safety?  >:(

I am waiting for Willamette as well, don't worry.  My numbers are slightly higher than yours and I have not heard anything.

FYI, you are mispronouncing Willamette. You better get it right before you attend ;)

Willamette is a borderline safety for someone with 154/3.76, depending on the undergrad school and WE.

I've applied to Willamette too and though my app. is complete, it took a LONG time to hear from them.

Yup.  It took Willamette about a month after they'd received my application to request my report.

Would the fact that my LSAT is actually a 150/158 split make my chances better or worse? I did submit an explanation about the LSAT difference.
