Personal "Acceptance" Call from George Mason's Dean of Admissions

Don't count on it - of 787 students (total) 388 full time and 399 part-time, 6 students got "more than full tuition;" none got full-tuition; 17 (2.2%) got half to full tuition; 25 (3.2%) got less than half tuition; ... only 6.1% of the 787 students received any type of scholarship.

They pride themselves on their low tuition cost, and I doubt you'll get much, all things considered.  for full-time you're under their 25th for GPA and 7 points over for LSAT--if they give out scholarships based on merit this would indicate to me maybe a few thousands dollars.  It's only $20k out of state anyway, that's $12k less than most private top 20's.

Yeah kinda, but no offense taken, thanks for the stats.  I'm in state anyway, I was just kinda being a dweeb.  And yeah, I know about my uggpa, I'm hopeing for leniency for being an engineer, not that I expect it, I was just a lazy college student who needed to grow up (and has since).

I still think you'll have absolutely no problem getting in with your stats.  Your LSAT score will drag up their median and aide in raising the 75th mark.  Your UGPA is negligibly below their 25th mark, which shouldn't bother them.  I hear they're somewhat of an LSAT-monger school anway, so they'll welcome your 99th percentile score.

Just submitted my ap on Tuesday but noticed that they already requested the LSAT report.  How lon gdid it take you to hear back form them? 

I have heard great things about their admin (can you imagine that at a law school?) and have a feeling they move fast.

not sure exactly--probably somehwere like 6 to 10 days after my application was complete.

Did they send out a complete notification, or are you just giving them a couple days after the report was sent?

Probably 10 days after the LSDAS report had been requested and listed as sent with all 3 of my LORs.
