Accepted at NYU

thanks to LSD, i opened my mailbox, saw the edge of a manila envelope sticking out of my newsweek, and without even looking at the return address knew i'd gotten into NYU 

i don't remember ever getting a "complete" e-mail, though i suppose i must have, and i just missed it?  same thing happened with duke; never found out that i was complete until i got accepted.

LSD is GRRRRREEEEAATTTTTT says Tony the Tiger. When I got my envelope (by the way with U.S. News) I knew the same thing.  Too bad I waited to turn in Harvard, Stanford, and Columbia until the end of November after slacking off after meeting early notification deadlines, or I could be circling the mailbox, instead, I just sent in all the Dean's Certification letters last Friday. They should do like Duke and only require the letter if you get accepted and decide to matriculate their. LSDAS already looked at my transcripts darn it! Now I probably have to wait until February for those once the administrator completes all of them and a couple others this week.

The good news is I can stop applying with the possible exception of Yale really now. Although I cant decide whether to use my fee waiver at Michigan, Washington & Lee, Notre Dame, and a couple of others just to get my other 6 LSAC Reports prepurchased some use. Why the heck did I purchase 15 instead of just doing 9 or 10 like I thought at first (thinking I could apply to most of T-14 and some safeties and then negotiate money I guess)

They should let us sell fee waivers and barter reports LOL

if you come up with something you want, let andrew know (probably on the meta discussion board).  the one we have now is kgd's signature line: "i'm becoming the lawyer my mother always wanted me to marry" on the front, and "lawschooldiscussion.org" on the back.  and it's pink.  so adorable!
