You can only enter as much text as will fit. To give more info, you'll have to make your own addendum, and then upload it. I think it accepts wordperfect and word files, not sure about anything else. Ditto for the resume.

Sounds like a pain in the arse! i may just do the apps manually, not really sure at this point.

Each school has it's own preference for app type, so you should probably check out each school's website before applying. Some schools like everything to be electronic, and others prefer paper. Also, some schools have their own online apps.
