Well, my GPA aint too hot. But you're right. I should have been happy with my score but the fact that I had couple of prac exams at 180 and every discussion board online had me feeling that anything less than perfect was terrible caused me to be a little pessimistic.  For the record it's RD.

When I got my letter it was like Monday morning and since it's finals and all, I have yet to celebrate as well. I'm about to head out though so I'll be thinking about my fellow Michigan acceptees celebrating

I never got a completed app notice, which is why this was such an incredible surprise. I'm forwarding emails to a different account so maybe it just didn't get to me. I did get an email in early novembe saying they got my app (but it was far from complete then).

Hey, HKrustofsky, what LSAT prep course did you take to get the 174?

I took a 3-day local prep class 2 years ago but it was pretty worthless. I got a 167 on my diagnostic so I think I'm just really lucky that the few strengths I have are a good match for the exam.

Edit: If you're prepping now, IMO, nothing beats practice as the absolute best way to prepare. In addition to doing individual problems and sections, I took over 20 timed full (5 sections)practice exams.  Good luck to you.
