Just received acceptance email from Univ. of Houston.

thanks cutcut. hope you get into UT. not that it really matters (i would probably be denied anyway) but I will probably be withdrawing my UT application this weekend. but a smaller app pool can't hurt.

I appreciate it, but I think you should leave it in and see what happens. Not that Houston is a bad alternative. Is that your top/next top choice?

I'm probably withdrawing all my apps outside the top 10 now that I have a Michigan acceptance. But i'll probably wait till 12/23 to do so. That's when I can sell all of the stock from a startup software company I've been working at and that recently IPO'd. Unless something goes HORRIBLY wrong w/ the stock sale I'll definitely be going to Michigan.

don't know. notification was via email with an indication of physical package on the way. Don't know what's in the package. But email referred to filling out financial aid form (FAFSA) to be used in assessing financial aid. So, I think you have to do the FAFSA dance before and scholarships are doled out.
