It's been a while for me, but for what it's worth I had a very high LSAT 172, but an undergraduate GPA of only 2.33 (with a 3.5 the last two years). I never really made it a point to study all that hard. In any event, I was rejected by more law schoold than I can presently remember, but did get into five or six of them, mostly "second tier." It all worked out in the end, though.

I'm in the NYC area and filed my apps the 1st week in december.
Still waiting to hear anything from UCLA, USC and Wisconsin...anybody else in the same boat? Should I call the schools to check up?

Same boat (no response from USC or UCLA). I called yesterday and the both had the same line: No decision has yet been made, and they could take up through the first week or so of May to decide. The girl at UCLA did add that "most" of their admit decisions had already been made. Argghhh.
