NYU and Penn Wait Lists?

Mid-April and still no news . . . anybody else on these lists and heard anything beyond Penn's "send me more info" letter from last month?  Does this s*ck or what?

Harvard and Yale are about to send out the bulk of their admits.  This will lead to TONS of openings at Penn, since it's a popular safety school for harvard and Yale hopefuls.  NYU will have some openings from this, but more from the apr 29th CLS deadline, since a lot of people admitted to NYU are also admitted to CLS, and theres about a 50/50 split in where they go.

I am in Penn's waitlist since Feb. 9th. No responce yet.

For those on Penn's waitlist, there should be some movement by the beginning of May, since their deposit deadline is April 30th and they should have a better idea after that what their yield will be.
