Any suggestions about these two? If someon knows they want to be back in NY in three years, does it make sense to stay here now even if at a lesser ranked school?

contact bu's career office and find out what percent of grads get jobs immediately after school in nyc. you need to find out in order to make an informed decision. it would also be good if you could get info about which firms from the city recruit there, and compare that list to carodozo's.

I've heard that cardozo is a real rising star, and it is a feeder school for NYC firms, only to a smaller degree than NYU, CLS, Harvard and to a lesser extent Fordam.

I'd choose BU in a heartbeat even if you want to be in NYC. BU places a lot of its grads in NYC. If you go to Cardozo, you'll be competing against your entire class for NYC jobs.
