Congrats :) but since you got into michigan doesn't that pretty much take this school off the list?

Yes. Just wanted to let people know OK acceptances are beginning to trickle in. Also, the folks at OK are very very nice. I corresponded a bit with the Dean and a student. Both were so nice that I will feel very bad about declining the offer of acceptance.

Anyone attending OK will get a great education under the care of a fine Dean.

Congrats on the acceptances...

I'm curious, when you are speaking of the Dean at OU were you talking about Dean Evans, Assistant Dean of Students or Dean Coats?

Hmmm ... i'm not sure. But when I spoke w/ him the underlying subtext of the conversation was clear. He was trying to figure out whether I was just using OK as a 'safety' school. Their offer of admission also requires me to give an answer by the end of Dec. So, they are very cognizant of the game we're all playing.

Whoever it was I spoke to was very cordial, very professional, and very nice. Even though we were playing a little game w/ one another, it was very friendly.
