should I take feb 06 lsat?

i am planning to graduate in june 2007, is feb 06 to early to take the lsat?

i want to take it in feb b/c if i dont take winter term classes i have 1/2 of december and all of january to study. if i bomb then i still have time to retake it.

Take it anytime you're ready.  The score is good for three years.

i just got the impression that the feb test was looked at differently by law schools for some reason

The February test is the only LSAT administration each year that is not released to the general public.  You won't receive a reproduced booklet with all the questions in it so you can figure out how you did on certain questions or anything like that.  Not only do you not get to see it, but neither do the adcomm people.  I don't know if the Feb. test is looked down upon, but essentially the only people who ever know exactly what's on the test are the LSAC people and the people who take the test that day.
