Nope.  Currently in California... but I grew up in the Midwest, so should I end up going to Wisconsin, the cold won't destroy me.   ;D

Here's a question:  Anybody know anyone who's attended Wisc?  Anybody have any impressions?  Where do the the graduates end up?  Obviously Milwakee and Madison, but how many go to Chicago?

I'd love any info anybody can provide.

Thanks!

I don't know anyone who's attended the law school, but both my parents are got their master's degree there and loved the experience.  The campus is supposed to be very picturesque.  My mom often recalls studying in cafes overlooking lake mendota.

Thanks for the info gentlemen and/or ladies!  The place definitly is beautiful, and those stats look pretty promising.  I should pick up one of those US News monster guides.  That thing sounds useful as hell.

Anybody else have any thoughts?  Anybody else applied?  Accepted?  Going?

I applied 166/2.76

I like a lot of things about that school. One thing that worries me is the drop in the LSAT median there (162 to 160) in a year when most other schools medians were going up. We have yet to see how this will affect their ranking.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not too much of a rankings whore, but I do wonder what the reason for letting those medians fall is. Their ranking lags behind their reputation scores, and it will fall again.

Anyone know the story with the changing of the admissions director?

I went there for UG, loved the school, love the city. So much, in fact, i reapplied for law school.  Cross your fingers!

Madison is great.  FYI the bar pass rate is so high b/c if you practice in WI you don't have to take a bar-same with Marquette Law.  Sweet deal.
