Bobby-

I got in with a 158/3.2 and nothing special on my application, so there is hope for you.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the hope seankenn.  The wait is killing me.  Did you apply around the same time, 10/28?

I have a 157/3.6.  From what it looks like on LSN they are admitting people in this index range (basically index 3.2 and higher).  It doesn't seem that Pitt favors LSAT over GPA like some schools.

I applied real early.  I tried to have my application in the mail the day before the began accepting applications.  I know I was shocked when the acceptance came so soon though.  It seems Pitt is on top on the game.  Does Pitt have a good "university" atmosphere?  I am from Seattle, so I am clueless to the schools on the East coast I applied to.

seankenn's numbers equal to a 3.1 index on LSNs so hopefully I still have a shot.

I'm sure that is fine.  There are so few people on LSN that it is certainly not a representative sample of applicants.

I wouldn't call it a 'University atmosphere.' It's an urban campus in a part of the city called Oakland.

Congratulations!  Is Pitt your top choice?  If so, you can use some of that scholarship money to buy a Glock and some body armor.  Oakland has really gone downhill in the past decade :)
