I think W&L gives out a fee waiver to anyone who applies online, though, so it's nothing to think too much about.
I think they do it to get more apps, more rejections.... more selectivity. this helps them go up in the rankings.... I got the W&L fee waiver too, along with one from NU, and I don't think I'm very competitive at either school.
I was under the impression that I was well out of the running for a Washington and Lee slot, does a fee waiver suggest otherwise? I have a 3.0/158, but that didn't stop postal props by way of W&Lee a few weeks ago. What motivation would a law school have for sending likely rejects fee waivers? I suppose it could help increase their selectivity, but I doubt this is the case. What do you guys think? HTHDOWNY
