Accepted at Louisiana State University

One safety in the bag: the decision was sent November 19.  There was nothing regarding financial aid, but there was an ambiguous "we will be contacting you soon regarding other issues of your admissions."

I am NOT HAPPY about this!!!!

I just got this email.....

This e-mail is to inform you that your application file is now complete.  The
Admissions Committee is continuously meeting and reviewing applicant files and
you will be notified by letter of their decision.  We anticipate that all
decisions will be made between April and June for the upcoming fall semester.
Due to the increase in applications and the fact that the committee reviews
all files, we appreciate your patience and understanding that you may not hear
from us until late Spring.

LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center
Office of Admissions
Room 202, Law Center Building
Baton Rouge, LA 70803-1000 USA

Notice that they say... "ALL decisions"

That is funny.  My avatar is a picture of The Dictator of Louisiana, Huey Long.  It would be funny if Justice was related to that!  Maybe only poetic justice (he was assassinated in 1935).

They told me that too.  I was expecting a decision from Baylor today, not LSU.  When I called LSU to check on my admission status a few weeks ago, they told me it would be January before  decisions were made.  I met the director of admissions one day after taking the GMAT, and she told me that "strong" applicants who submitted early had decisions before Christmas.  Reasons they may have made the decision so early is that I am 17, a Louisiana resident graduating from a University of Louisiana System college, most of my immediate family did UG at LSU, two of my recommenders are LSU PhDs and one is a Louisiana legislator.
