Law School Discussion

Huge noob alert.

Huge noob alert.

Hey guys  :)
This post probably belongs in the Pre-Law forum, but it feels more like home here.

I'm a grade 12 Ontario student, and have just recently started contemplating law as a possible career path.
I've been frequenting pre-med school boards of late, as that is another one of my career choices.
My question is... If I were to have a life-sciences or biology based degree, would that affect my chances of being admitted to law-school.  I know that med-schools do not take into account what you majored in (although they do ask you to qualify your choice in the interview process), but I'm not sure if this is true for law-school.
Will choosing a particular major affect admission to Canadian law-schools?

No, it will not at all.  Pick whatever it is you are interested in and do well in your courses.  Amassing technical and scientific knowledge can be really advantageous in terms of law school.

I'm no expert, but I've had some friends who came from that background and got into law school just fine and found a niche for themselves.  Just make sure you grades are really good.
