third!  #2 was getting a cute love note from UMich saying "we love to get classics majors - i hope you'll apply!"  literally brought a tear to my eye.  i photocopied it and sent it with my LOR packet to the two classics professors recommending me.

ha ha, thanks   i feel kinda like a dumbass for putting the note on my fee waiver as the #2 benefit of latin and the STANFORD ACCEPTANCE at #3.  it was chronological, seriously.
