No, just like they didn't actually call.

Maybe it's a hoax? :)

Also, to all who have been accepted: have you actually received the mailing they claim was sent out last Tuesday???

Not that I know first hand... but one of our colleagues on XOXO claims to have received the mailing, which includes a T-shirt.  How exciting!

No, just like they didn't actually call.

Maybe it's a hoax? :)

my friend got a phone call from the dean of the OTHER bay area T14 school last year, and then she didn't get a packet in the mail for like a week or more (and we live in socal, so it shouldn't have taken more than two days, logically), and she started stressing that someone played a prank on her.  so sad :(  but she attends there now, so she ultimately got the packet.

I just thought the phone call thing was weird, because they totally didn't try to call me at all and it doesn't sound like they tried to call anyone.

Kind of a pointless misrepresentation if they don't really try to do it.

If it is a hoax, it's a mighty good one.  Maybe I wasn't talking to Faye Deal on the phone after all...  :o

Ah, silliness.

Also, I think it was absy on xoxo talking about the Stanford shirt.  I don't remember putting my shirt size on my application... although I bet S could use its vast admissions rescources to discover these things.  Like its spies in the trees.

Did she actually call you? I stand corrected.

If they give me an XL I'm gonna be peeved...and it's immediately going to become the "girls wear this when they sleep over" shirt. :P

Well, more like I called her.  I was just so blindsided by the email that my initial reaction (ok, my secondary reaction, after leaping in the air) was to call and make sure it was for real.  More silliness, I know.  So I actually spoke to Dean Deal, who very kindly told me that, yes, I was in.

And I take back the stuff I said earlier about the admittance package maybe not being mailed last Tuesday.  I got it in the mail today (t-shirt and all), postmarked 11-23-04.  :)

I wish it did.  It's simple: white with the purple SLS leaf thing and "Stanford Law School" on the chest.  No mention of farms, barns, or swine.
