Nation School outside of top 14...
« on: April 13, 2004, 02:11:21 AM »
Howdy,

What are some of the more "national" schools outside the top 14?  I know Notre Dame and Vanderbilt are, but are there any more? I don't know where I want to practice, and my stats are 3.55/hovering around 165 (with a LOT of EC), so 15-35 is probably around my range.  Thank you.

I am not a lawyer, and so have no evidence for this, but I've often heard the University of Texas at Austin is a national law school.  On the other hand, I attend UT so perhaps I am getting a biased perspective...

In the USNWR back pages it lists each school and then gives a % breakdown for regions where their graduates work - that may be a useful thing for you to look at...

You can find this info on a lot of school websites. You can also call them up and ask. They definitely have this info. You are probably only interested in the schools you are applying to right?
