A question for fellow Georgetown acceptees......

I was looking over Georgetown's website, and I found this:

Hrm. Has anybody else gotten this? I'm not sure how to interpret this comment. Does that mean I should call TPTB, and they would provide me info, or they'll provide it to me via a mailing? Has anybody gotten this information?

nah. i bet we get more information later (i.e. a thicker envelope). i wouldnt call and bug 'em.

ps, cleaning out my wreck of a desk, and you know what i just noticed on my gtown letter? andy cornblatt calls me by my nickname! there goes the numbers-only theory some have posited-- he definitely had to read my recs, as i would not have referred to myself as other than alexandra in app materials.

Some apps have a "name you prefer" line.  You sure you didn't include this? Or would it be weird to have done that?

Yep, good old Andy called me by my nickname too.  I felt so loved that they actually took the time to read my recs.  I only use my real name on my ap materials as well.

im glad one or more recommenders did, though-- one of my grad school rec referred to me by last-name-only throughout, and i felt like a baseball player reading a play-by-play about myself in SI.
